What is the Folklore Mail?

The Folklore Mail grew from my work to research, write and illustrate The Adventurer’s Guide to Surviving the Folklore Wilderness. Every month your letter introduces you to a new creature from Celtic folklore and tells you how to identify that creature, where you would find it, and how to survive an encounter. This is accompanied by a traditional folklore story, retold or adapted by me, and one of my watercolour illustrations as an art print. The mail will also usually include a little something extra every month just for fun.

The Folklore Mail is for wily adventurers, the curious, those who love fairy tales and folklore, writers and artists using fairy tales and folklore in their work, and anyone who wants 15 minutes peace with something beautiful away from a screen, to enjoy the anticipation of slow mail and the joy of finding something in the letterbox that shows that someone thought of you.
